La Quinta from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Makes its European Debut with a New Hotel in Istanbul
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world’s largest hotel franchising company, with over 9,200 hotels and 20 brands -- including Margaritaville, Planet Hollywood, and Nobu Hotel -- in more than 80 countries.
Now, the brand is branching out even further, and La Quinta just made its debut in Istanbul with the 404-room La Quinta by Wyndham Istanbul Gunesli.
Wyndham acquired the upper-midscale La Quinta in 2018, and the brand currently has over 900 hotels across North and Latin America. The new opening in Istanbul marks La Quinta's first presence in Europe and latest addition to Wyndham's other properties in Turkey.
The hotel is easily accessible from Istanbul International Airport and the Expo Centre, and has facilities including three restaurants, a fitness center with sauna, a Turkish bath (obviously), Jacuzzi, steam room, and indoor heated pool.
For more business-oriented travel, the hotel also has 116,145 square feet of meeting space with eight meeting rooms and a ballroom.

La Quinta's new hotel in Istanbul is part of Turkey's aim to attract 58 million visitors in 2020, as well as Wyndham's international growth trajectory and plans to introduce La Quinta to key markets around the world.
